The Restoration Dance Theatre (RDTC) is honored to once again celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In celebration of Dr. King's birthday and what would be the 100th birthday of Carter G. Woodson, the Father of Black History Month, the company is delighted to perform works in tribute in the spirit of these great men with pieces by Restoration Dance Theatre's artistic director, Karen Thornton and veteran choreographers Ronald K. Brown, Germaul Barnes, Abdel Salaam, Nathan Trice and others. RDTC will also be joined by professional guest artists from the ChoreoQuest project. The concert has become a tradition during this holiday weekend at Kumble Theater.
